5 things Barca must do to beat Deportivo

Barca play Deportivo La Coruna in the Saturday night clash at Riazor. It's the first game after the internationals, so Barca needs to do similar things like the win against Getafe, which was the first game after the last international break. We recommend 5 things Barca need to do in order to beat Deportivo.

Don't start Messi

Tito did a smart move against Getafe, and let Messi play only 30 minutes, in which the Argentine maestro scored 2 goals. Messi didn't trained with the team on Wednesday and besides that, he played two tiring games for Argentina. So, he should do the same like against Getafe, let Messi play only 30 minutes and hopefully he will score again.

Start Tello

Tello should start this game from the left side, not Villa or Sanchez/Pedro. He's faster and have more powerful runs than Villa (Sanchez or Pedro should play on the right side) and this is a very important thing in away games where you have to brake tight and confident defending.

If Villa don't start, give him more playing minutes

If Tito decides to not start David again, then he must give him more playing minutes. Regardless of the result he should give Villa at least 30 minutes of playing time. He's very experienced player and knows how to attack tired defense.

Rest Xavi and start Cesc

Xavi played two games for Spain in the international brake and had some tough games before that. So Cesc should bring some fresh air in Xavi's position and this will surprise Deportivo. Also Iniesta should play from the start. He needs playing minutes after the injury to regain confidence for the next games.

Song and Mascherano for central defenders

Mascherano and Adriano were the starting central defenders against Real Madrid, but in this tough away game, Tito should start Song and Mascherano. Song is better defensive player than Adriano and Tito should use this defending duo again in the Champions League game against Celtic.
